Educational Disclaimer
Last updated: 11 August 2026
Please read this page before you use Finoha. It is the most important document on this site, because it describes what Finoha is — and, more usefully, what it is not.
1. Finoha is education, not investment advice
Finoha is a trading-education product. It teaches concepts through lessons, quizzes and a practice portfolio.
Nothing in Finoha — no lesson, no quiz, no chart, no price, no leaderboard position, no AI-generated explanation, no notification, and no marketing material — is:
- investment advice, financial advice, or a personal recommendation;
- an offer, solicitation, or invitation to buy or sell any security, commodity, cryptoasset, derivative, or other financial instrument;
- a suggestion that any particular asset, strategy, or transaction is suitable for you or for anyone else;
- tax, legal, or accounting advice.
We do not know your financial situation, your objectives, your risk tolerance, or your regulatory status, and we make no attempt to assess them. Any decision you make about real money is yours alone. Before you act on anything you learn here, consult a licensed financial professional in your jurisdiction.
2. No money moves through Finoha. Ever.
This is a hard architectural boundary, not a policy we could quietly change:
- Finoha holds no client funds and never will.
- Finoha does not execute, transmit, route, or facilitate any order in any market.
- Finoha has no brokerage, custody, or exchange relationship of any kind.
- Every balance, portfolio, position, profit, and loss shown inside the app is simulated. The in-app currency ("coins") is demo money with no cash value.
You cannot deposit money into Finoha, you cannot withdraw money from Finoha, and no trade you place in the simulator reaches any market or counterparty.
The only real payment in Finoha is the subscription fee you pay to use the product, described in the Subscription Terms.
3. We are not regulated as a financial firm — because we do not do regulated things
Neither Finoha nor the companies behind it are registered, licensed, or authorised as a broker-dealer, investment adviser, investment company, futures commission merchant, exchange, money transmitter, virtual-asset service provider, or in any other regulated financial capacity — with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), the U.K. Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), the Turkish Capital Markets Board (SPK), or any other financial regulator anywhere.
We are not required to be, because we do not perform any regulated activity. We publish educational content and operate a simulator. That is the whole business.
No U.S. or other government agency has approved, endorsed, reviewed, or passed upon the accuracy or adequacy of any content in Finoha.
4. Simulated results are not real results
A profitable practice portfolio predicts approximately nothing about real trading. Simulated trading has known, well-documented limitations, and they all run in your favour inside a simulator:
- No execution risk. Your simulated order always fills, instantly, at the displayed price. Real orders face spreads, slippage, partial fills, gaps, halts, and outright rejection.
- No liquidity constraint. The simulator does not model whether the market could actually absorb your order.
- No costs. Commissions, spreads, financing, borrowing costs, exchange fees, withdrawal fees and taxes are not deducted.
- No emotional cost. Losing demo money does not feel like losing rent money, and the difference changes how people behave. This is the single largest gap between simulated and real performance, and no simulator can close it.
- Hindsight and repetition. You can restart, retry, and ignore a bad position in a way that real capital does not allow.
Because these results are hypothetical and prepared with the benefit of hindsight, they are subject to the inherent limitations of all simulated performance records.
Past performance — real or simulated — does not indicate future results. We make no representation, promise, or guarantee that you will earn any profit, avoid any loss, or achieve any particular outcome. Trading and investing carry substantial risk, including the total loss of the amount invested. Some instruments can lose value faster than others, and leveraged or margined products can produce losses exceeding the amount deposited.
5. About the prices you see
Finoha displays market prices to make the learning realistic. Be precise about what that means:
- Stock prices are supplied by Finnhub. Cryptoasset prices are supplied by Binance's public market-data API. These are requested directly by your browser.
- These prices are delayed, indicative, and provided "as is". They are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, timely, or tradeable, and they are not a quote at which anyone will transact with you.
- When a data feed is unavailable, rate-limited, or fails, Finoha falls back to an internally generated, fictional price series so the screen does not go blank. Prices shown in that state are invented and correspond to no market anywhere.
- Charts are provided by an embedded TradingView widget for illustration. The chart never drives a simulated trade and is not a trading terminal.
You must never rely on any number in Finoha for a real-world financial decision. Use a real, licensed market-data source for that.
6. About the AI features
Finoha includes AI-generated explanations and an in-app explainer character ("Fin"). These are powered by third-party large language models.
- Fin is an explainer, not an adviser. It explains concepts and terminology. It does not give personal recommendations, and any output that reads like one should be disregarded.
- AI output can be wrong. Large language models produce fluent text that is sometimes inaccurate, outdated, or entirely fabricated, including about markets, instruments, numbers, and events. Output is not reviewed by a human before you see it.
- AI output is not a professional opinion and creates no adviser relationship of any kind.
- Do not enter confidential or sensitive personal information into the AI features. See the Privacy Policy for where your prompts go.
7. Third-party content and links
Finoha may reference or link to third-party sites, data, and materials. We do not control them, do not endorse them, and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices.
8. Forward-looking and illustrative statements
Any example, scenario, historical narrative, or hypothetical figure used in the lessons is illustrative and simplified for teaching. It is not a prediction and not a representation about any real instrument's future behaviour.
9. Your responsibility
You are solely responsible for your own financial decisions and for complying with the laws and regulations that apply to you where you live. Finoha is offered for educational use only, and may not be lawful or appropriate for everyone in every jurisdiction.
10. Relationship to our other terms
This Disclaimer forms part of, and should be read together with, the Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy, the Subscription Terms, and the Refund Policy. The limitations of liability in the Terms of Service apply to everything described here.
